This tape is not crystal clear and does have a clear grid pattern. You can still see through the tape but it does have a texture like a medical tape.

Comments: Literally the best. I live in Florida. Humidity is quite a bad issue as far as getting tape to pull vinyl up and not leave it on the backing. I went from having issues 90/100 decals to having issues 1/100. The porous nature of it is also very nice as well. I highly recommend anybody working with vinyl try this stuff.
